Since my laptop has a touch screen I have been tempted to try some digital art. I have never tried anything like that before and I always thought it would be awkward.
I don’t have a stylus so I was just messing around… finger painting really. I do want a stylus since then I can actually do more with a touch screen than I can really do at the moment.
What I found was that since I couldn’t really do much detail with my fingers, since I have a tremor and less sensitivity in my fingers… so not great for that sort of thing. And even without those, obviously, a stylus would be way more accurate… I went for starting with a pale background and layer up slowly with tiny added bits of detail for some depth.
It is a slow process but pretty interesting really.

Anyway, it was a pretty fun distraction for today.
