Three things about myself
- I am teaching myself to draw. I used to back in the day and I think it would be a nice hobby to pick up again but it will take time.
- I’m disabled. I know that word comes with a lot of thoughts, beliefs and stigma. It is what it is. I may not be forever. One can hope. But I am now. I cannot function in society as it is and society doesn’t have a lot of ‘space’ for me.
- I love black & white photography. And when I was younger fell in love with Ansel Adams’ work. I love this type of photography because of the contrast and the play of light.
The Questions I got
Would it be a good thing if people were immortal?
I don’t think so. World population numbers would be an issue so there would have to be some sort of population control program. Another issue is that I think if humans were immortal, exposed to everything changing and changing, and constantly having to adapt… we would go insane. I do not think our brains are designed for it, to be honest. I think in a variety of ways we would go insane.
If there were a food that could cause orgasms would you eat it?
Uh, yeah! Why not? Not maybe in public because that might be a wee bit awkward. But at home sure. I’m not saying I would become addicted to it but I might.
Would the world be a better place without money?
Tricky pickle that one. We have existed on that system for a very long time and it is what we use to motivate us to go to our hell jobs. Without it who would go to their hell jobs? Where the pay sucks and we only do it to pay the bills? We would all stay home and do what we are passionate about. And then society would collapse. If there was an alternative system… trade of goods or something… maybe. We need motivation to produce necessary goods and somehow have a way to get them to others for a reason. Why would you work so hard producing crops if you got nothing for it? But some alternate system could conceivably work. And hey, when we have enough robots and AI… then what work will be left and maybe then we can all do what we want… and then maybe there would be no real reason for money. lol Then AI will take over and that will be that.
What is the number one killer of human beings on Earth?
Humans, of course. Humans kill humans. For a Lot of reasons. Human nature being what it is. There are philosophers that debated this. Whether we are innately Good, or innately Bad. The cynical me says we are as a species greedy, selfish, and do far more emotional thinking than rational thinking (but like to think otherwise). Individuals may not be. But as a whole, yeah, that is what I think.
By greed. Mostly. I mean greed rules the world. Causes wars. Shrinks the middle class and increases poverty. Ensures other places that are having serious issues will not get the help they need because, well, not our problem. And means the few hoard the most.
But… I mean, religion causes a lot of wars too. So there is that. It causes extremist beliefs. Where there is belief there is extremist beliefs. And if there is belief there is a contrary belief… and apparently that Just Isn’t Cool for some people. So that creates fear and hate and violence and war and genocide. But… beliefs in general could be the cause of this. Because even if we exclude religion… conflict can be started because of the belief that one race is superior to another, one culture is superior to another… and so on… and war ensues. Religion is just fuel for that fire because of it is a core belief that cannot be denied, ergo, others have to be wrong. Any extreme belief systems embedded into a society that conflicts with another that causes conflict is going to be an issue.
So if war causes the most deaths then greed and extreme belief systems are sort of tied on that one. I have no stats on that to determine who is ahead on that. So humans. Because we are greedy by nature. And because we are emotional beings with emotional belief systems that creates conflict with other emotional belief systems (we like to pretend we are rational animals but evidence suggests we are not)
If you could erase one class from the Earth which would you choose? The “Rich”, The “Middle Class”, or the The “Poor”
Another tricky one. If we had no poor that would be a well functioning healthy society. Without the rich though, well, we would have a society less focused on Extreme greed and there would be less poverty. I would say eliminate the poor… because if we could eliminate poverty from society completely that sounds like a successful society to me. Where everyone is thriving to some degree. What a world that would be.
My FIVE RANDOMLY WEIRD QUESTIONS
- What is the meaning of life (other than 42 of course)
- If you died on the operating table and had an out of body experience and some entity said to you ‘You can be reborn as a baby or return to your life,’ which would you choose?
- Would you rather change something in your past or know something specific about your future?
- Do you believe alien life in the universe that is technological exists anywhere? If so why have we not ‘heard’ from them and statistically why are they not all over the place? If you don’t… why not?
- Do you believe in ghosts? And if so what are they? And if not what is that experience all about?

Congratulations! Extremely interesting answers! When it came to eradicate which class question, I had at first said ‘get rid of the rich’, but after seeing other people’s answers, it’s got me thinking maybe none and have the rich distribute all their wealth to those in need so that we technically don’t have the ‘classes’ and have a thriving community.

Yes that is true but with human nature as it is … would the rich do that? I wish that could happen. But if society eradicated the poor by regulations that would mean everyone would have a basic living. Also very idealistic, eh? Lol

Hmm, that is true. I don’t know if the rich would do that.
