NaNoWriMo: In for the Win

NanoWrimo win

Today a couple of minutes ago I surpassed 50,000 words and won Nano at 50, 105.

Average words per day 3748. I wrote in the morning and evening after taking my vertigo medication. Any other time, too woozy and dizzy to really write. And even as is it will be riddled with errors I will have to weed out in a very slow process. That is after the second draft.

YAY!!!!!!!

Awesome!!!

Wooot!!!

But the novel is only half done so still more work to do.

Ahhh

Bummer

Drag, man

But I have an awesome ending planned

Again with the Woots!!!

It is fantasy fiction so 50k isn’t sufficient to finish the novel. I am about half-way through. But it is a damn good start. And I have worked out a perfect ending. I had one already. I always do before I start. I always have a good idea of the basic plot and the end game. But as you go along it becomes its own beast. And now I have an ending that works very well with the next book in the series.

The title so far is The Old Gods, but that will be changed because it is more appropriate for the next novel in the series. I have yet to figure out what this one will be. The first in the series is The Lost Magic.

Here are some images that inspired me:
