This is my current fantasy reading list.

It actually doesn’t include some of the free kindle books I recently downloaded. Or my ‘read when I have nothing else to read’ list. This is my current to-read list.

#1 Grave Yard Shift by Michael F. Haspil.

I am reading this one right now. It is ‘gritty urban fantasy’ but by no means excessively dark. I picked it up because I do like this sort of urban fantasy. And so far, it is a pretty good read.

Alex Menkaure once ruled as pharaoh. Marcus once lived in the time of Caesar. Now, mummy and vampire are partners in a special police unit, fighting to keep the streets safe from both supernatural criminals and anti-vampire vigilantes.

When someone starts poisoning the artificial blood used by vampires, relations between vampires and humans deteriorate to the brink of anarchy. While the city threatens to tear itself apart, Alex and Marcus must form an unnatural alliance with a vigilante gang and a shape-shifter woman in a desperate battle against an ancient conspiracy.

If they succeed, they’ll be pariahs, hunted by everyone. If they fail, the result will be a war bloodier than any the world has ever seen.

#2 Unclean spirits by Chuck Wendig.

This one sounds like a blast.

#3 Trailer Park Fae by Lilith Saintcrow.

I actually picked up the series, so I also have picked up the other two as well: Roadside Magic and Wasteland King.
