Poem: Vertigo

poem vertigo

So I have migraine and some of my migraine attacks are vestibular migraine. And that means vertigo, disequilibrium, and dizziness. A ride you never meant to get on and can’t get off. It actually also means I can’t go on amusement park rides as that is a massive trigger for these. And lately, it has been a massive issue for me. Very disorientating for me. So I wrote a poem.

Vertigo poem

Vertigo

The world sinks

The fog spins in

I teeter on the brink

It all whirls dim

The fog spins in

Swirling, twirling

It all whirls dim

Twirling and whirling

Swirling, twirling

I teeter on the brink

Twirling and whirling

The world sinks

  1. Hi Nikki I have the perfect vertigo ‘fluffie’ image that would go with this poem. I was going to write a post about a year ago about migraines and vertigo so designed it and then never got around to it. 😮
Would you like to see it?

Wishing you wellness and less pain Xx 🙂
