There is a poem I wrote called,’Lost days’. Someone in a group mentioned a journal that was looking for submissions. So I submitted. The journal is Fine lines and is quarterly.
I am of course happy about this. Always happy to get something published. However, this one came as a bit of a surprise. I only do poetry when I feel like it to be honest. So I wouldn’t say I am proficient at it. I thought of all the others that would submit and was pretty sure I would not be picked. So I am surprised. He also encouraged me to write more for them.
I enjoy writing in this format for poetry. But am looking for something else to play around with.
