Review: No More Black Magic

No More Black Magic by A.L. Kessler

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

The book No More Magic is about a gifted witch and someone out to get her. She works with a vampire, who also raised her. She also works for the state on cases. She gets on a case that seems to have something to do with her father’s death and what work he did.

The main character, Abby, is a powerful witch. The local coven has issues with that. Others are intimidated by her.

I didn’t really enjoy the storyline at all. I found the whole story written very predictably and as such, it took me days to read just from lack of interest. It has the potential for Urban Fantasy, but it failed for me. Not something I would personally recommend.

This is a mini review because It was a cruddy book for me, so really not something I would recommend. However, not so horrible I stopped reading it. No the sort that you kept reading waiting for the good stuff and never really get satisfied. That sort.
