I love Norse mythology. I love mythology in general… who does not love stories about gods? Where the gods are even more flawed than we are and when we chance upon them it never fairs well for us… which rather makes sense. Anyway, I think we do project upon the gods the essence of what we see in ourselves just out of proportion.
But Norse and Greek were the ones I read mostly. This picture made me laugh though because by coincidence I am reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman… in which Odin refers to himself by the nickname Wednesday, which made me chuckle.
